Valerie is the Managing Partner at Cucinelli Geiger, PC. With over twenty years of experience in Elder Law and Special Needs Planning, Valerie helps our clients create a legal roadmap for their health care and financial legacy. Her practice focuses on Estate Planning, Medicaid Planning, Special Needs Planning, Probate, Guardianships, and Conservatorships. Valerie’s experience serving as a Trustee, Medical Agent, Guardian, and Conservator provides her with real-life experience, which informs and enhances our clients’ plans.
Valerie has served on the boards of Insight Memory Care Center and the Virginia Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (VAELA). She is a member of the Fairfax Bar Association and a frequent speaker throughout Northern Virginia on Elder Law and Special Needs issues. She has been selected to Super Lawyers since 2017 and to the Top Lawyers Lists in Northern Virginia Magazine and Washingtonian.
Valerie received her B.A. from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and her J.D. from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware. She is licensed to practice in Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the District of Columbia.
